We’re proud to share that CHMRC CEO Ellen Young has been invited to join the Women’s Health Council at Baylor Scott White – Frisco PGA in North Texas. This new appointment reflects both Ellen’s personal commitment to advancing women’s health and CHMRC’s broader mission to support community-driven solutions that improve health outcomes.
The Women’s Health Council brings together leaders from across sectors to educate, advocate, and innovate on behalf of women’s health. As a member of the council, Ellen will help shape strategies that ensure women have access to the care, resources, and support they need to live well and at every stage of life.

We believe community organizations play a critical role in addressing health-related social needs, including those specific to women navigating complex health systems, caregiving responsibilities, and inequities in access. Ellen’s participation in the Women’s Health Council deepens our commitment to these efforts, bringing the voice of grassroots and coalition-based work to the table.
“I’m honored to join this group of leaders committed to women’s well-being,” said Ellen. “The work we do at CHMRC, especially around coalition building and social determinants of health, complements the council’s mission to advocate for more holistic, accessible, and community-rooted healthcare solutions.”
We look forward to the insights, partnerships, and innovations that will grow from this collaboration, and to the continued elevation of women’s health as a cornerstone of community resilience.
