The CHMRC Solano Community Health Hub recently hosted a groundbreaking event in honor of Transgender Day of Visibility, in collaboration with Solano Pride and the Solano Pride Center. This event marked a significant milestone in ongoing efforts to create a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community, particularly our transgender and gender-nonconforming individuals.
Since our doors opened at the Solano Community Health Hub last summer, our team has been steadily collaborating with partners to help address community needs. We are starting to see encouraging impact through unity. To help tackle food insecurity in Solano County, we recently partnered with IRUSA Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA), to give away food boxes during Ramadan the Hub. To maximize our space and reach within the Solano community, we invited other organizations in to offer their services beside us.
California Health Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) proudly announces its selection as a Tier One recipient of the esteemed Medical Reserve Corps Operational Readiness Award (ORA) from the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). On December 11th and 12th, Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA) hosted its annual Food Insecurity Conference, bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders to address the critical issue of hunger and its impact on communities across the nation and worldwide. The event was a resounding success, filled with insightful discussions, collaborative brainstorming, and a renewed commitment to tackling food insecurity head-on.
CHMRC proudly announces the award of a $25,000 grant by the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls (CCSWG). The grant is part of a state funded $5 million dollar investment in women’s ongoing pandemic economic recovery statewide.

On October 2, 2023, CHMRC made a significant contribution by delivering over half a million medical gloves and face shields to La Familia Sana, aimed at supporting local Sonoma County community-based safety net nonprofits. These nonprofits play a crucial role in assisting families and farmworkers in Northern Sonoma County and Southern Mendocino County.
