  • Half a Million PPE Donated Nonprofits and Farmworkers in Sonoma County

    On October 2, 2023, CHMRC made a significant contribution by delivering over half a million medical gloves and face shields to La Familia Sana, aimed at supporting local Sonoma County community-based safety net nonprofits. These nonprofits play a crucial role in assisting families and farmworkers in Northern Sonoma County and Southern Mendocino County.

    Located in the Solano Town Center Mall, we can offer an open meeting space to support up to 40 people for trainings, presentations, community events and more. We have been proud to host American Red Cross, Leaders of Men, League of Women Voters, and the PAL Teen Center. We would love to host you!

    In early 2021, when the COVID-19 vaccine became available, Diana Bell’s church, Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield, California, became a vaccination site and called on volunteers to help. As someone eager to get vaccinated, Diana saw this as an opportunity to increase her chances of getting her vaccine early.
