Annual reports often capture what was accomplished in a year. CHMRC’s 2025 Annual Impact Report does that, but it also tells a deeper story about how our work continues to evolve and where we are headed.
In 2025, CHMRC focused on clarity: clarifying our role, strengthening the systems we support, and building the kind of organizational sustainability that allows us to be a reliable partner to communities over time.
Strengthening the Link Between Data and Community Impact
Our Public Health Reporting work continued to grow in 2025, supporting health systems across California with more accurate, timely, and automated reporting. This work helps reduce administrative burden, improves data quality, and supports faster public health response.
What makes this work distinctive is how it connects back to communities. As a nonprofit, CHMRC reinvests revenue generated through public health reporting into community-based efforts, creating a continuous loop between strong data, informed action, and community resilience.
Listening First, Then Acting
Across our community engagement work, one theme came through clearly: communities are not lacking effort or leadership; instead, they are often navigating fragmented systems with limited coordination and resources.
In response, CHMRC focused on strengthening what already exists. Through community forums, coalition-building, funding, and strategic partnerships in Solano County, CA; Cloverdale, CA; and New Albany, IN, our work centered on listening, coordination, and community-led solutions.
These efforts may be quieter than traditional programs, but they are foundational. When local organizations are better connected and resourced, impact lasts longer.
